How to Stop Being Lazy

(*DO NOT TAKE THIS COURSE IF YOU ALREADY TOOK "THE DAD YOU NEVER HAD." IT IS AN EXCERPT FROM THAT COURSE, AND YOU WOULD BE PAYING TWICE FOR IT).

The cause of nearly all the problems you face today is because you're lazy.

Whether you're fat, weak, unhealthy, poor, in debt, unemployed, depressed, unloved, unwanted, lonely, or perhaps even disgusted with yourself, it's likely because you're too damn lazy to do anything about it. And so you remain a prisoner to your own laziness, too crippled to take action, condemning you to this life forever.

The problem is if you don't do anything about it, you are guaranteed to continue living this miserable existence of hell for the rest of your life. And when your life ends, that will be it. That will have been your entire life. It will have been wasted. It will have been miserable. It will have been a tragedy.

But while society employs the conventional methods of shaming or reasoning people out of laziness, these methods unfortunately don't work. And the reason they don't work is laziness is NOT an ethical or moral problem, but rather a biological one. Laziness kept humans alive for nearly all of their existence ensuring they didn't expend more calories of energy than there was precious food to eat. And because of this, laziness is a hard-wired, undeniable, survivalist instinct that no amount of shame or reasoning will wash away.

But that is the intended purpose of this short course.

"How to Stop Being Lazy" does a deep philosophical dive into the origins, causes, and ultimate solutions to laziness. While it does acknowledge laziness will NEVER be dislodged from the human psyche , it does provides the student with a philosophical bypass to this otherwise biological problem. In focusing on providing you reasons and motives MORE POWERFUL THAN YOUR LAZINESS, it hopes to make it so you willingly choose to do the work as opposed to being lazy. Be that fear of a wasted life, fear of death, or the tremendous and great incentives that come with hard work, the goal is to make you want to choose hard-work over laziness nearly every time. And while there's no way humans will ever get rid of their desire to be lazy, this course hopes to give you the tools by which to tame and control it.
